Hardcover bookbinding is a relatively expensive but durable binding method. The book keeps its shape even after heavy use, so it is recommended for intensive use or for exclusive publications. During hardcover bookbinding, the inside pages are fixed together through thread-stitching or PUR gluing. The covers can be printed on 2–2.5–3.0 mm grey board with surface protection, artificial leather or canvas.
